Pup of the Week #11: Winnie

Margaret Moriarty

White German Shepherd

Winnie is a sweet, fun-loving white German Shepherd mix who splits her time between Charlotte, NC and Greenville, SC! She is one lucky pup because those are two awesome cities with lots of fun pup-friendly activities and places to go! We're just a few hours away in Chapel Hill, NC, so we hope we can meet Winnie in person some day soon.

Winnie was adopted from Charlotte-Mecklenburg Animal Care on May 30, 2018. (Someone's gotcha day is coming up!!). For the first week when her mom got her, she didn't know what to name her. After getting to know this cutie for a week, she thought that Winnie was the best fit. And we agree - it totally fits her sweet and happy-go-lucky personality!

Winnie's mom says what makes her special is what a big and unique personality she has. Winnie is a big ole goofball, and such a happy dog! That shows through in her adorable and often hilarious Instagram posts where we get to see Winnie's sweet smile. She is always glowing in all her pictures!

This sweet girl loves to snuggle (no surprise there!) and she also loves baths and anything to do with water. (Uh, where can we get a dog like Winnie?! Bolin and Rosie throw a fit whenever they figure out it's bath time!)

One of Winnie's mom's favorite memories about her is the day they brought her home from the shelter. That is always going to be such a special memory for Winnie and her family!

One of Winnie's other favorite things is getting to lick up some pupcake batter while her pupcakes bake in the oven. We agree - the batter is almost as good as the real thing!

Winnie has decided to gift a free pupcake mix to her friend Jager, a handsome German Shepherd also living in Charlotte! Congratulations, Jager, we hope you enjoy your free pupcake mix!
